Yardsy is a rapidly growing organization based out of Smyrna, GA. We have doubled in size each year over the past 3 years and are looking for individuals that are driven to exceed expectations. Spraying, fertilizing, and driving a truck are the basic aspects of the job, but individuals that are looking to advance their careers by helping build a new company are what we are interested in.
Management Career Path of 36 months!!
Day-to-Day Responsibilities and Skills:
- Work weekdays 7AM-5PM; some weekend work may be required
- Background in Turf Management or Spray Technician is Highly Valued
- Valid Driver’s License Required – License background check required
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have access to cell phone
Specialist employees will either spray or push a spreader containing fertilizer and other chemicals throughout the week. The employee will spray lawns of varying sizes and must be able to identify and properly manage weeds, disease, and other property issues. Candidate must be able to withstand cold temperatures and hot temperatures, as this is an outdoor position.
Specialists are also required to work in different job functions – aerations crews, general office upkeep, tree/shrub, top dressing, etc.
Position will include the training of other technicians and will be held responsible for adhering to the programs set in place by the Operations Manager. Training will be given for this position; a strong work ethic and mental preparedness are both necessities.
Typical Work Week Hours: 40
Salary: $16.50 – $18.00 per hour
